Hello ,

Spring is officially here! And it is a magical time to explore the changes happening all around us in our wild backyards. The quiet, white canvas we’ve been exploring during the winter months is exploding in colour and sound and our plant and animal neighbours are celebrating the warmer, longer days.

For this Nature Through the Seasons newsletter, we are sharing 10 Ways to Spring into Spring! Read on to find simple springtime suggestions for connecting your learners to this rejuvenating season.

The Wonders of Water Workshop

We're offering a professional development workshop this May. Join the one hour workshop to connect with other educators and build a community of practice rooted in seasonally based environmental education. We will learn from and inspire one another to connect learners to their wild backyards!

This free workshop will include nature-based learning resources connected to literacy, math, science and social studies, as well as ideas for connecting to curriculum outdoors and back in the classroom.

This final workshop in our series features the Wonders of Water. Join us Wednesday, May 25th at 3:30 pm PT/ 4:30 MT.
