Turtle Fencing Removal Work bee October 26 2025
Come join us to maintain a turtle fence!
Each spring, we install a temporary fence to keep Western Painted Turtles from crossing West Creston Road during nesting season. In the fall, we take it down so it won’t be damaged by snow removal. The work involves rolling up wire fencing and removing rebar posts. Please note there will be some walking on uneven ground.
