Wildsight Invermere's Climate Pledge

Wildsight Invermere's Climate Pledge empowers citizens to take action to reduce personal and community greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and counteract climate change. We know that climate change is one of the most pressing issues of our time, but the scale of the problem can leave us feeling overwhelmed and underqualified to tackle such a huge issue.

The Pledge dispels the 'doom and gloom' narrative by offering inspiring hands-on activities and events that engage all demographics. Signing the Pledge is not an easy out, however. It is an act of commitment that creates personal accountability to our community through tangible, targeted emissions reduction.

The Pledge will highlight accessible, positive lifestyle changes that are friendly for all. Through fun and engaging activities, we'll work to re-frame the dialogue around climate change adaptation and mitigation as a 'sacrifice' to an improved quality of life for all – human and non-human alike!
