Wild Food - Foraging Workshop (Saturday)

2hr guided outdoor workshop to find, identify and learn about wild food - fungi and plants in our beautiful local area with Biologist Suzie Kathol. Susie is a biologist and ecologist with experience in plants, wildlife, fungi and lichens of Western Canada. Her interest in foraging stems from early-childhood outings with her dad (also a biologist) as one of the best ways to connect with the environment and the ways it can sustain us. As a biologist, Susie learned the identification and ecological management skills that allow her to continue to learn to forage in a safe and sustainable way. There's always something new to discover in foraging!
