Wild animals love fruit and we have loads of apple trees in Cranbrook that need picking so we can feed our human neighbours instead. Join us for a satisfying day of work in the autumn air!
Last year our volunteers managed to pick almost 3000 lbs of apples! Join us again this fall to harvest even more. Bring your gloves, hats snacks and water bottles, and something warm if it’s a cool day. And if you can bring along a truck and a ladder, even better!
We meet at the Public Produce Garden on 18th Ave N (between 6th and 8th St.) at 9:00 am on September 11th. See you there!
