Ellen Zimmerman spent her life advocating for the environment and wilderness protection in the Columbia Valley. Ellen’s persistence resulted in the protection we have today of the Columbia Wetlands and the Cummins River Valley (near Kinbasket Lake).
In memory of Ellen and her leadership in the environmental movement, the annual Ellen Zimmerman Award will be presented to an individual, celebrating and supporting their outstanding contributions to environmental conservation and education in the Upper Columbia Region. Your donation to this award will ensure environmental conservation and education will be encouraged, supported and celebrated across this same landscape for years to come.
One-time or monthly donations are both appreciated.
