Meeting Places

Maps and travel times to Valley Events can be found on our website and at registration. Please plan your route in advance and allow for adequate travel time to event locations to avoid being late.

Main locations include:

1)      Creston & District Community Complex (Rec Centre), 213-19th Avenue N side.

2)      The Creston Valley Wildlife Centre, 1760 West Creston Road, 11 kilometres west of Creston, 1 km south on West Creston Road.

Refund Policy

There is a “No Refund” policy for events. If you must cancel, please accept our thanks and consider it a donation to the sustainability of the festival. In the event that Creston Valley Bird Fest organizers must cancel an event, a full refund will apply.

Be Weatherwise

Events go ahead rain or shine. Bring your binoculars, camera, good walking shoes (we are off-pavement at the BirdFest), sunscreen, water, snacks or lunch in case your bird sightings keep you out longer than expected.  Also a jacket for the evening field trips, it’s cold at night near water.
